Legal draft
Terms of Service
These terms are a good-faith draft for the SlideMux invite-only beta. By signing in and using the service, you agree to use it as described here. Counsel review may refine this later.
The service
SlideMux helps invitees turn slide decks into narrated videos: import a PPTX, edit spoken scripts, preview, and generate a shareable MP4. The product is an early hosted beta and may change, break, or be unavailable without notice.
Invite-only access and Google sign-in
Access is limited to accounts invited by the operator. You must sign in with the Google account that was invited. You are responsible for activity under your account.
We may revoke access if you share invite credentials, abuse the service, or use it outside the intended beta.
Your content
You retain rights to the decks and scripts you upload or create. You grant SlideMux a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service (import, generate narration and video, store temporarily, and deliver downloads).
You must have the rights to use the materials you upload. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
Beta limits, watermarking, and retention
The free invite beta includes product limits such as a small lifetime generate allowance, slide-count caps, watermarked exports, and approximately 48-hour retention of free generated outputs. Limits may change as the beta evolves.
Generated files are not guaranteed archives. Download and keep copies of anything you need to keep.
No warranties; limitation
The beta is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SlideMux is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the beta, including lost work if outputs expire or jobs fail.
