Privacy Policy
This is a good-faith draft for the SlideMux invite-only beta. It explains what we collect and how we use it while the product is early. Counsel review may refine this later.
Who this covers
SlideMux is an invite-only hosted beta. This policy applies when you sign in and use the studio to import decks, edit scripts, and generate videos.
Sign-in with Google
Authentication uses Google Sign-In. When you sign in, we receive identity information Google provides for that account (such as a stable Google user id and email) so we can create a session, enforce the invite allowlist, and associate your projects with you.
We do not receive or store your Google password. You can revoke SlideMux access from your Google account settings at any time.
Project and media data we store
To run the product we store the materials you upload and create in the studio, including presentation files (for example PPTX), per-slide scripts, generated audio, slide snapshots, project metadata, and generated video outputs.
We use this data only to operate SlideMux for you: import, edit, preview, generate, download, and enforce beta limits. We do not sell your content.
Generated output retention
On the free invite beta, generated video outputs are kept for about 48 hours, after which they may be deleted and become unavailable to download. Project materials in the studio may be retained longer so you can continue editing; do not treat SlideMux as long-term archival storage.
Watermarking
Free beta exports may include a watermark. Watermarking is a product limit of the beta, not a claim about ownership of your underlying presentation content.
Cookies and session
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in while you use the studio. The public marketing pages may use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate visit measurement (no advertising cookies). The signed-in studio uses the same GA4 property for anonymous product analytics.
Marketing site demo video
The public marketing pages may show a first-party poster image for a product demo. If you press play, the page loads an embedded YouTube player (youtube-nocookie.com) so the video can play. YouTube may then process data under Google’s terms and privacy policy. The poster itself is served by SlideMux and does not load YouTube until you choose to play.
